WIP Wednesday: Time for tea, your Majesty?

I started subscribing to the Little Box of Crochet in May. I saw a sneak peak of the project that was made that month on their Instagram page, and I had to own the box. I love tea and I've wanted to crochet a tea cup for a while. I've also wanted to subscribe to Little Box of Crochet for a while, so I figured it was a win-win to start with this box!

I have quite a tight gauge when I crochet, and I think I've mentioned that a few times on here. Now, when I crochet amigurumi I do like a tight gauge so theres no holes where stuffing can gape through.

With this project though, I do think my gauge is way too tight. It's fine on the cup (it has a bit of a different shape than on the project picture from the pattern booklet) but I do like the shape.
What I don't like the shape of is the saucer. The middle is too tight. I've decided to frog the saucer and redo it with a 3 mm hook instead.

I have found that with the Little Box of Crochet boxes I need to go up .5 mm on the hook size in general. So it's good I have a lot of different crochet hook sizes in my stash :)

  1. Hi - do you have the pattern for this? I've looked everywhere but LBOC aren't a thing anymore so cannot find the pattern to buy
